PROGRAMS

If you’re just starting out in climbing or just want to try something different, we’ve got the programs for you. With no experience or training whatsoever we can have anyone climbing within minutes. So why wait?

Climbing can be a fun occasional activity. It combines healthy physical effort with a dose of problem solving in a supportive, friendly atmosphere.  

CANYONS BELAY CERTIFICATION

Belayers must be 12 years of age or older. Cost is $2.00 and will occur your first visit to Canyons. Our Instructors will take as much time as they feel is necessary for you to gain the skills needed to belay.

AUTO BELAY SYSTEM

Our auto belay systems use hydraulic safety brakes to slowly and automatically lower you to the ground after you’ve climbed our wall. Absolutely no experience necessary! Our staff will put you in a harness and show you how to use the auto belays in less than 5 minutes.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Call to schedule a private lesson with one of our knowledgeable climbing instructors and quickly develop skills you didn't even know you had. Work on body position, footwork, ready routes, training exercises, or just have someone there to motivate you through a truly epic workout!

LEAD CLIMBING LESSONS

At Canyons we will always ask, "What's next?" Take the next step in your climbing education and learn how to lead climb. Call to schedule your private lesson with an experience instructor who will teach you how to tie into the end of the rope, use a tube style belay device, and specific safety measures specifically related to sport lead climbing. We 4ecommend at least two hours of training to learn the basics, and we reserve the right to withhold lead climbing privileges from a climber if we feel that you do not possess the necessary skill needed to lead climb without close supervision.

2 Hour Class - $80
Classes are limited to 3 participants.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Events are made even more special at Canyons of Frisco. Our professional staff is here to assist you in coordinating your premier event from Birthday Parties for 5 year olds to Corporate Events for 70 year olds. The young at heart will always have a wonderful time at Canyons of Frisco. Group reservations and Birthday Party reservations must be made at least 1 week in advance and a deposit of $75 will be due at the time of reservation. By placing a deposit you are assured of your special time and slot. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. All days and times are subject to availability.

LOCK-INS

Do something out of the ordinary for your scouts, youth group or after prom party. hold a Lock-In at Canyons of Frisco. Canyons of Frisco will be on-sight all night. All night Lock-Ins start at 9:00 p.m. and end at 9:00 a.m. The cost of an all night stay is a $399 facility use fee, deposit required, and $10 per person.

EVENTS ROOMS

All event rooms have tables and chairs and generic paper products such as: plates, cups, napkins, and plastic ware. Currently, we have 2 sizes of event rooms to choose from. You will have your party room for 3 hours and may decorate your room however you wish, although we ask that you do not use confetti, silly string or poppers.

TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

Team building reaches new heights at Canyons of Frisco. Our professionally trained facilitators will take your team on a remarkable journey to places they've never been to before. All Team Building Events at Canyons of Frisco are unique. They are customized to focus on any area your corporation or coach would like. Event rooms are available for on-sight meetings. Team Building Events are by reservation only.

BOY SCOUT MERIT BADGES

Our certified instructors will guide your group of scouts through a comprehensive climbing/rappelling lesson and test their new found skills all in the same day. Boy Scouts will earn their Climbing/Rappelling Merit Badge and Girl Scouts will earn their Adventure Badge with an emphasis in Climbing and Rappelling.

Cost is $40 / Scout with instruction based on a four hour class and $30 / Scout for testing only (length of time depends on the size of the group). Call ahead to schedule all appointment.
